Getting into fights with my parents brings me down and destroys a little piece of me every time. But I have to get past it and live for myself. I have so many classes to study for, my friends expect me to hang out and be fun, and I have softball too. I cry just a little bit to get it out of my system and then I call my best friend and she talks things out with me. If she’s not available I’ll take a walk, draw for a bit, whatever it takes to calm down. Then I’ll make a list of things that are better than the situation, the things I want to live for and go for it.
