You’d learn that life is better when you’re open to people and engaging them with an open mind and heart. You’ll learn a lot of things from them. A lot of my friends are now are retired and isolated living in retirment communites. They tell me, “You lead such an adventurous life.” But I don’t know any other way. I wouldn’t want to be locked in with people who are just like me. Last year I went to Cuba. I don’t speak much Spanish, but because I was open, I ended up getting a ride around town in a 1958 Buick convertible.
