I always give thanks to God. I used to work harder for less money, but I went back to school and became a surgical tech later in life. It was hard because I had to work temp jobs while in school but I didn’t mind. I’m a humble person and I believe you can do what ever you set you mind to. Now, I get to help save people’s lives by helping with surgery. Even though I’m on the bottom of the totem pole in the OR, when the surgeons yell, I don’t take it personally. It’s a stressful situation, and people are grateful when we’re done.
