It’s not good to take everything as a joke. It’s good to rebel at points, but you gotta find the right moment and place. Like if you’re throwing fireworks and no one is around, even though it’s “not right”, you’re not harming, disrespecting, or bothering anyone. But if you’re in class and the teacher says you have to write and you make it a joke saying, “No I don’t want to write,” it’s disrespectful. You have to respect teachers and their positions. And sometimes respect goes beyond what you’re normally taught. The other day this old lady dropped her groceries and a some people were laughing at her. “I was like why are you laughing?” But respect isn’t just not laughing at her, it’s going to help her.
