You’d learn responsibility. My dad’s been in jail since July and my mom lives in Alabama, so we stay with my grandma. I’m responsible for watching over my siblings. Everyday after school I take the bus to. pick them, cook for them, make sure they do their homework, and keep them safe til my grandma gets home. I’ve thought about going to live with my mom, but I don’t know what’s in Alabama and I want to stay here with my brothers. I don’t think too much on it, I don’t want to get depressed,. I just take it day by day and try to stay on the right path.
