You’d learn that community changes need to happen from the inside and out. I’m making a career change so I’m taking classes to get better at product management. I’m trying to share all the things I’m learning with other people. To a lot of people, success means leaving the neighborhood, but I’m working against that. I’m teaching coding classes to Latinx youth so they’ll have resources that I didn’t have growing up. If we can keep the power within our communities we can really make change.
