Hi, my name is David Ryan Barcega Castro-Harris.

I became a photographer the day after I had the idea for “Views From My Shoes”. Initially this project was born out of my need to connect with people beyond the “good morning’s”, head nods, and waves day after day. But I quickly realized that the project has the same goals as my work as a Restorative Justice practitioner and circle keeper: building empathy, connections, and community through story telling.
